Maple Bourbon Glazed Tofu
This was tangy and sweet. A great marinade and glaze.
Ingredients
1/4 Cup of Amber Agave
1/4 Cup of Balsamic Vinegar
1/4 Cup of Bourbon
2 Cups of Vegetable Broth
1/2 Teaspoon of Chipotle Tabasco Sauce
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
1/2 Teaspoon of A1 Sauce
1 Shallot, Diced
Directions
Mix together all ingredients and divide in half
Marinate the tofu for several hours or overnight in one half
Cook the other half on medium heat for 10-15 minutes; glaze should thicken
Bake the tofu for 40 minutes at 425 degrees Fahrenheit, flipping once; apply glaze every 10 minutes
