Hummus can really be made with any kind of bean or pea, not just garbanzo beans. Different beans give the hummus a different flavor and look.
Ingredients
1 Cup of Cooked Black-Eyed Peas
4 Cloves of Garlic (More or less to taste)
1/4 Cup Tahini
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
1/3 Cup Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Directions
Place the peas, garlic, tahini, and salt & pepper in a food processor and chop
Pour in the olive oil and chop until smooth
Add more oil and/tahini to make smoother
