I have been working on my chef's game lately. I started watching "The Everyday Gourmet" from the Great Courses series. I am about halfway through, and I am really enjoying it. I am picking up a lot of tips, tricks, and fundamentals, even if the series if not about vegan cooking.
I decided to invest in a very nice set of knives. They are worth it. They feel great in my hand, and they slice through anything with ease. With the right care these knives will last a long time.
I also bought a new sauteuse. See? I am learning fancy French words from "The Everyday Gourmet."
Now, if only I could do something about that beat up stove.
