Chocolate Chip Irish Coffee Cake



This is not coffee cake, but Irish coffee cake. Do you see the difference? Well, you will. This is tasty treat that is not too sweet, and some claim has a strong hint of whiskey.

Ingredients
1 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
3 Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon White Vinegar
1 Teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
5 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil (I used canola oil.)
1/3 Cups Chocolate Chips (I used these.)
3/4 Cup Coffee at Room Temperature
1/4 Cup Jameson's Irish Whiskey

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Mix together dry ingredients
Make three separate craters in the dry mixture and add the vinegar to one, the vanilla extract to another, and the oil to another and mix together
Add coffee, whiskey, and chocolate chips and mix well
Pour cake mixture into a 8 inch pan and bake for 30 minutes
