Pasta and Vegetables




One of my favorite dishes is pasta and sauteed or steamed vegetables. It seems the combination of vegetables and pasta is almost endless. You can dress it up with oil, garlic, and fresh basil or keep it simple with a little salt and pepper. You can saute the vegetables in some oil and garlic or steam them. You just can not go wrong with this dish, and it makes an easy weekday meal which provides leftovers for the single eater like me.

A "fancy" dish with sun-dried tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, and vegan Italian sausage.

A "simple" dish with steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots.
